Kansas City Chiefs Streamline Bank Reconciliation Process with Yavrio

Overview

The Kansas City Chiefs, a premier NFL franchise, manage a vast array of financial operations that support everything from football operations to stadium logistics to vendor and sponsorship relationships. To improve efficiency and reduce risk within their bank reconciliation process, their accounting team sought a modern banking integration within their Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP, Business Central.

The Challenge

When switching to Business Central, the Chiefs found their options were limited when it came to banking integrations that worked with the Chiefs’ bank.  Therefore, they did not implement a banking integration.  

Prior to Yavrio, the Chiefs’ accounting team faced inefficiencies in their bank reconciliation process:

• Bank balances could only be checked manually via external portals.

• Bank statement imports required downloading and uploading unsecured CSV files.

• Reconciliations were manual, time-consuming, and error-prone.

The Solution

• Live Bank Connectivity enabled the team to view real-time bank balances directly in Business Central.

• Secure Statement Imports allowed direct bank data feeds without any file handling.

• Automated Reconciliation dramatically sped up transaction matching and reduced errors.

Implementation was fast and aligned with the Chiefs’ existing Business Central setup.  With a few small configuration changes, the Yavrio team was also able to bring in data through the integration that was not being provided previously with the CSV files.
